GEP is proud to be facilitating the signing of a 10-year Intent to supply between a major waste industry player and KNM to supply the Energy Park Peterborough Project at Storey’s Bar Road, Peterborough. The site is the location of an 81MW Biomass Power Station with construction planned to start this year and to be on line 2016. A GEP spokes person said that this is a great opportunity for the UK to deal with its waste in the UK rather sending it to Europe. It is pleasing to know that when complete the EnergyPark will help UK waste companies to be both sustainable and responsible in their waste management activities.
