Environmental Impact Assessment
Environmental Impact Assessments are generally accepted international mechanisms for assessing the potential environmental impacts from proposed changes to land-use and to tackle environmental, economic and social issues in an integrated manner. It predicts the environmental affects of a proposed project and ensures that development proposals and activities are environmentally sound and sustainable.
